Mediation is a voluntary method of dispute resolution, where a neutral party is able to help parties work towards a mutual agreement.
At The Support Hub, we are dedicated to helping families to navigate conflicts and build stronger, more harmonious relationships. More families are choosing mediation as it can be a peaceful and cost-effective way to work through a separation or divorce. If children are involved, it is a process of having parents come together collaboratively to design a plan for their children based on their needs. There are additional benefits of pursuing mediation including a faster approach, being in control over your own process and customizing the needs of your family.
Our fees range from $350-$400 per hour + HST, depending on which mediator you are working with.
The cost of co-mediation is shared by both parties.
For mediation, we require a retainer prior to work beginning. These payments can be in the form of cash, e-transfers, debit, cheque or credit card. Note: Cheques must be remitted 7 days in advance prior to work beginning.
Cancellations made within 3 days will be subject to a fee of $250.
Parties have the opportunity to choose whether mediation will take place in person or virtually, via Zoom or a similar platform.
